A number of locations on the IEM website generate a fancy plot type called "wind roses". These plots nicely show wind direction frequencies by wind speed. I've made some improvements to the plotting library used and you should start seeing updated plots like so below. The improvements include:

• Calm explicitly plotted in the middle
• Plot expanded out some to more easily see the low speed frequencies
• Less confusing plot observation count denoted
• Explicit denoting that the wind directions shown are the direction that the wind is blowing from and not toward
• Radial axis labels are indicated as percentages
