Thankfully, the significant severe weather threat on Monday failed to materialize due to some of the issues mentioned with yesterday's daily feature. There were still a few severe storms prompting the NWS to issue warnings for. The featured map presents Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado warning covering or near Iowa from Monday afternoon till Tuesday morning. A couple of rounds of rain are in the forecast for this week, but any severe weather should stay off to the east and south of the state.
