Temperatures were rather uniform over Iowa up until noon yesterday when the front entered northwestern Iowa. The plot nicely shows the streaks of falling temperatures as the cold front passes over individual stations. The front exited southeastern Iowa just before midnight making for a 12 hour trip to transverse the state.
