The severe weather threat materialized late Monday evening into Tuesday morning as a cluster of storms blew up into a classic Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) and trucked it off to the south and east. The featured movie is of NEXRAD base reflectivity mosaic along with NWS watches and warnings from 10 PM Monday night until mid afternoon Tuesday. While the system produced some damaging wind, hail and a few brief tornadoes, it also brought some much needed rainfall.
