3 Week Change

Posted: 07 Oct 2015 05:39 AM

The featured map displays the change in average high temperature over the next three weeks based on the current climatological averages. The map shows that the fall season comes faster for some areas of the country than others. The largest cooling occurs over the northern plains and the far pacific northwest. The maps shows the moderating effect of the Pacific Ocean with smaller changes as one gets closer to it. Iowa's actual weather will be going in the other direction next week with warmer temperatures expected.
