For drought stricken areas of SE Iowa, this weekend's rainfall was a great way to end the month. Rainfall totals of around an inch were common on Saturday with another half of an inch on Sunday. It will take many storms like these to recharge the soil moisture in preparation of the growing season. Every little bit counts.
