70+ in November

Posted: 20 Nov 2020 12:01 AM

We've had some remarkably warm weather this fall season along with remarkable cold and early significant snowfalls. Of the three, Thursday was thankfully on the remarkably warm column with highs well into the 60s and even low 70s for most of the state. Ames was able to reach 71 degrees and time is running out for such warm temperatures to happen again this year as shown by the featured chart of daily frequency of having a 70+ degree high temperature for November. After the 21st, nothing but goose eggs to be found until March.
