The newly discovered rainy season of August continued on Sunday with rain falling at tropical rainfall rates over Southcentral Iowa. Storm totals up to 5 inches were observed in Clarke and Mahaska Counties. The first part of our next work week will be dry, but more chances for rain are in the forecast for Wednesday night into the weekend.
