The lack of clouds allows for consistant solar radiation (red line) forcing to reach the ground and the soil/air temperatures respond in a similiar consistant manner. If you click the chart, you can see the classic example of soil temperatures (green line) lagging air temperatures (blue line) throughout the day. Even when the weather seems boring, there is always interesting data to look at.
