WHAT...Wind gusts as high as 45 to 55 mph. High wind gusts may 
occur even outside of showers and precipitation. Wind gusts from
45 to 55 mph have been recorded at Chariton, Ottumwa, Oskaloosa,
and Lamoni since 1050 pm. 

WHERE...Much of south central and southeast Iowa. 

WHEN...Through 1230 am

IMPACTS...Unsecured outdoor objects may be blown around and smaller
tree branches may break. 

PREPAREDNESS AND PRECAUTIONARY ACTIONS...Use extra caution when
driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle on 
east/west roads.
