...Elevated Fire Conditions Continue Today...

Elevated fire weather conditions can be expected for most lower
elevations of central and northern Wyoming through 8 pm this
evening as winds continue out of the north to northeast 10 to 20 
mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph while relative humidity drops only 
into the upper teens to near 30 percent behind a cold frontal 
passage. Residents, travellers, and campers are encouraged to take
strong caution if considering any type of burning activities. 
Please follow local burning rules.

...Elevated Fire Conditions Continue Today...

Elevated fire weather conditions can be expected for most of
southwest and southern Wyoming today through 8 pm this evening. 
Minimum relative humidity will range from 9 to 15 percent across 
the lower elevations...and 10 to around 25 percent in the 
foothills and mountains for the remainder of this afternoon. Light
wind this morning will become or increase out of the northeast, 
behind a frontal passage this afternoon, to 10 to 20 mph with 
occasional afternoon gusts to 25 mph. Temperatures will cool and 
relative humidity values will rise with the frontal passage by 
this evening. Residents, travellers, and campers today are 
encouraged to take strong caution if considering any type of 
burning activities. Please follow local burning rules. In 
addition, do not drive off the area roadways as dry vegetation 
could easily catch on fire.
