Starting about 2 PM, internal network latencies were quite large leading to slowness or inability to access the IEM website. After about 3 PM, our in building router started to dramatically throttle traffic to the server room causing major website performance issues. Unfortunately, it took me a while to resolve what was going on and get things back ship shape again. We had a large local data transfer that was generating an inordinate number of bad packets on the network. Services should have been normal around 6 PM. Sorry for the troubles.
