Subject: Storm report

A brief strong micro-burst hit the City of Seymour, Iowa at about
5:45 PM this evening.  In addition to knocking down trees and power
lines, a building at Fowler Elevator was damaged as was the First
Christian Church.  All the damage occurred along a narrow band on
Winston Street, centering around the intersection of 5th Street and
Winston.  Power was lost for the entire community until about 8:30
PM.
