Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Thunderstorm intensity and coverage is expected to increase this afternoon across eastern ID, northern UT, and western WY. Environmental conditions support the potential for strong to severe storms capable of strong gusts. Isolated large hail is also possible, particularly in areas of higher terrain. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles east and west of a line from 65 miles north northeast of Idaho Falls ID to 40 miles southwest of Salt Lake City UT.
